A striking Sailing yacht that achieves both elegant proportions,
and superlative interior space for her length. Built in South Africa to cruise the oceans of the world in comfort and safety,
.The design has a very pleasing sheer, a good-looking aft, and a moderately high bow. The flush main deck, combined
with a wide beam ,allows truly large areas of recreational deck space..... This is a proven ocean going schooner.
Custom built in South Africa and launched in 1987.

Aluminium structure is all marine grade 5083 alloy, welded
by the metal inert gas process. Six transverse aluminium bulkheads are fitted and continuously welded to longitudinal frames
of T secion 70 x 60 x 9.5mm 6261 aluminium alloy. Hull and deck plating is welded to this framework. Special alloy extruded
toe-rail is welded to the hull sheer. Plate thickness is 8mm below the waterline, and 6mm above. The keel plate is 25mm. There
are two cockpits one with storage lockers, the aft with access to the lazarette. All deck mounted hatch and ventilators coaminggs
are welded into the deck plating. Ballast consists of stacked lead ingots completely insulated and sealed beneath a welded
aluminium plate zincs are attached to 30mm rod section welded inside the hull. Bilge and sump tanks have been created within
the keel the sump being closed the bilge (under the main engine) open. The rudder is skeg mounted and sits above the keel
line. Fuel and water tanks are of aluminium alloy. The hull is fair and appealing and pleasing, complemented with constructed
insets for all port holes. The hull shows a gentle tumblehome, however little flair at the bow,Shear is classic, gunwales
being deep forward and curving back, deck house lines exhibit correct convergence with the modern straight bow line.

The windlass is a Lofrans Titan, 2000 kg lift, with emergency
manual lifting, and 24volt forward and reverse . Spare anchor is in the forepeak forward and is a 60KG stainless danforth.Working
anchors consist of two 60kg CQR with 60 metres of 12mm chain to port and 140 metres 14mm chain.

The galley is u shaped with long corian work surfaces and twin
inset sinks. plate racks and storage are close at hand. There is a porthole and deck hatch above. Cooking equipment includes
a combined microwave rottiserie convection oven, and a gimballed gas oven with top burners.( The gas bottles being kept in
isolation in a deck space an isolated locker,accesible by locking deck plate )

Apon descending belowdecks of this schooner the immediate feeling
is space and light, The deckhouse has large windows as well as four deck hatches. The main salon has "L"shaped cushioned seating
to port and starboard.The navigation station switchboard and chart table, drinks cabinet etc, are to port . The galley and
dining salons are forward of this raised saloon but flow from it in a semi open plan scheme, the galley being to port, and
the dining salon to starboard . Forward of this is an attractive centreline passageway with four almost equal cabins,
2 to port and 2 to starboard. Each has its own deck hatch and porthole, ¾ berth below and single upper. Each has its own head
and washroom, and sufficient cupboards drawers and storage lockers. Back from the raised saloon down two steps on the
starboard side is the entrance to the Main cabin This cabin is even more spacious,has a queen size bed, and full seating,
there is a porthole to port and starboard and two deck hatches. The interior furnishings are fresh, Cabinetry and woodwork
of the yacht is finished throughout with teak trim and ,and panelling of chinese oak. sapelle, and kiat . The sole througout
is teak and holly.

Across from the galley is the dining saloon, the teak table comfortably
seats 10 around it.Storage lockers are under these seats, and in various lockers in the galley.

is for a minimum of 10 persons. Daycruising with 25 persons would would be comfortable and spacious.

The Yachts rig is 2 masted
double spreader stayail schooner with loose footed roller furling staysail on the main stay as well as the forestay and fittings
for fore fisherman, on foremast, although golywobber carried on board.
14mm chain. All winches are self tailing 12 in all. Barberossa.

Forepeak..stowage of chain, sails
and lines, 2 crew squeeze bunks.

Cockpits ...The yacht has a large
main cockpit, for dining etc and a steering cockpit aft, the main cockpit is normally entered by a thruway on the starboard
side. There are three deck lockers under the seats. There is a large spray dodger. While sailing the main boom is high enough
to pass comfortably overhead while tacking. Further aft is the sailing cockit, from here sheets can be hauled instruments
observed, and the vessel steered.

Lazzerette...This compartment
is entered thru a deck hatch either side of the steering cockpit, apart from steering hydraulics and motors, the space is
for stowage.

Steering The Steering is hydraulically
operated by a large ram (500cc) and wheel pump above, a 24volt motor runs a hydraulic pump for jog steering, and the Silva
autopilot operates the pump solenoids for automatic steering. Should complete failure occur a 3 piece tiller arm can be directly
and quickly connected to the top of the rudder stock which is accesed through a cut out in the foreward part of the aft cockpit.
This system allows unusually powerfull control from the main cockpit. This tiller arm is stowed in the lazzarette.
Accomadation...This is not cozy,
it is spacious The entrance to the accomadation is from the cockpit. The coach roof is large with four hatches, and outside
may be used for deck cushions and working area for main mast lines and winches

is sort of like a split level huge saloon. Moving forward is an attractive passageway with four almost equal cabins, each
with a hatch and porthole, ¾ berth below and single upper. Each cabin has its own head and washroom, and adequate cupboards
drawers and storage lockers. Moving aft through the saloon down two steps on the starboard side is the entrance to the Master
cabin This is spacious,has a queen size bed, and full seating, porthole to port and starboard and two hatches.The interior
of the yacht is finished throughout with teak trim and , panneling of chinese oak, and kiat. The sole is teak and holly.

Saloon... This area is the focal
point of the interior, to one side forward is the chart table and navstation. There is an 'L' shaped couch to port and similar
size to starboard. The area is complemented with liqor cabinet and bookshelves, there is a lot of space and headroom in this
area, the feeling is bright and airy, and added to because of the viewpoint down to the galley and dining salon. Which is
the same space but on a lower level.

Galley.....The galley is u shaped

lockers are under these seats, and in various lockers in the galley.

is the fridge/freezer which has a holding plate to a compressor on the generater, and a holding plate to a seperate 24 volt

maintenanace manual. The heads have shower space provision and drainage.

with large lockers in the heads and cabins.
Machinery...Machinery space is
under the saloon sole, entrance is gained through a hatch in the sole to port and a hatch to starboard. Most routine tasks
can then be performed, should greater access be required the sole is partitioned and designed to be easily removed, as are
the silencing panels.

Main Engine... is a 6 cylinder
Ford Sabre 150hp turbo diesel with aquadrive and shaft brake, the engine is started from its own 24volt batterybank, which
is charged from a dedicated alternater on the main engine.

Genererater....The generater is
a Yanmar..........................with ...... hours. 16Kw output 220v 50hz. The generater is started from its own 12v. Battery,
and has its dedicated instruments and alarms at the nav station.

Waterheater...There is a 4kw water
heater, which is heated both electrically and by recirculation through the main engine cooling system.

BatterybankThe main batterybank
consists of 2 banks of 12 x 2volt cells, giving a rating of over 1000 amp hours, These are charged from a 100 amp alternater
on the main engine, and a Victron 100 amp charger/conditioner from shore power/genererater. A compresser is geared to the
generater and providies coolant to the galley refrigerat.er holding plates

Bilge pumpingMain bilge suction
points are the lazzarette a keel foot under the main engine, a space between the outboard fuel tanks in way of the galley,
and a keel space by the sump tank, located in the cabin passage way, forward is a suction point by the foremast. Two Gusher
25 pumps serve these manually, one from the aft cockpit serves the main engine space. Automatic 24 volt pumps serve all compartments.
